ED pill not working as expected?

Adjusting dosage or switching medication

If the effect of your ED pill isn't satisfactory, increasing the dosage can sometimes help. Ideally, you always use the lowest effective dosage. This isn't just more cost-effective, it also reduces the risk of side effects.

Increasing the dosage

  • Using sildenafil (Viagra) 50 mg and the effect isn't sufficient? Then 100 mg can be tried.

  • Using tadalafil (Cialis) 10 mg and the effect isn't sufficient? Then 20 mg can be tried.

You can do this by:

  • Taking two 50 mg tablets (sildenafil) or two 10 mg tablets (tadalafil) at the same time, or

  • Requesting treatment with the higher dosage in your personal account.

Higher dosage not working optimally either?

If the higher dosage of sildenafil or tadalafil isn't working sufficiently, it can be worth trying the other medication. The effect varies from person to person. Some people respond better to tadalafil than sildenafil, or vice versa.

Taking tadalafil daily?

If daily tadalafil isn't working sufficiently, you can switch to or try:

  • The high dosage of sildenafil, or

  • The high dosage of tadalafil.
