How long does it take to see results?
Finasteride needs to be used consistently for at least 6 months before its effectiveness can be properly assessed. We recommend taking clear photos before starting treatment and repeating this monthly, so you can track your progress well.
The maximum result is usually reached after about 2 years of consistent use.
If finasteride isn't working well enough
In some cases, especially if the effect of finasteride is disappointing, dutasteride can be prescribed. This is an off-label medication that can also be effective against hair loss.
